AvatarWhoever didn't get the reference in today's strip probably never will, so I'll just spoil it. It was one of the first games from LucasArts (the company formerly known as Lucasfilm Games), perhaps even the very first point and click adventrues ever (though I wouldn't bet on it; if you know more, drop us a line): Maniac Mansion! Not all versions had this cool four-way-pointer, though. That game had 15 commands (including 'What is'; 'Talk with' actually did not appear until Indy 3), which were in later adventures reduced to 3. Chuck appeared in later Lucas games as well.
